BioLife Part‑Time Plasma Donor Screener We are dedicated to creating meaningful part‑time opportunities for our team. This role is truly part‑time, with most shifts lasting between 4 to 6 hours a day, 3+ days per week. Your schedule will be confirmed early in the interview process and any changes will be communicated in advance. About the Role Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high‑quality plasma you collect will become life‑changing medicines. As a plasma donor screener, you will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations. Responsibilities Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety and team coordination. Screen new and repeat donors, record vital signs, and analyze finger‑stick results. Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation. Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company‑approved procedures. Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, reach above shoulders, and reach below knees. Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. routinely and up to 32 lbs. occasionally; rarely 50 lbs. Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance. Proficiency in handling potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level1); 90% of tasks require prolonged glove wear. At least 1 year of customer or patient‑facing experience is helpful. Compensation and Benefits Hourly Wage: $18.00 – the actual rate will meet state or local minimum wage requirements. Potential short‑term incentives for U.S. based employees.
