Billing CoordinatorWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Coordinator to join our team. This role requires a strong background in medical billing, with expertise in federal and district billing. Proficiency in SimplePractice or similar billing software is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities:Prepare, review and submit accurate invoices for mental health services to federal and district agencies, evidence based associates (EBA) and department of correctionsManage authorizations, insurance payments, and resolve non-payments while coordinating with collection agenciesEnsure compliance with billing regulations and organizational policiesMaintain accurate records of billing transactions and paymentsUtilize SimplePractice and other billing platforms to manage invoicing and payment tracking efficientlyResolve billing discrepancies and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely collectionsWork closely with internal teams to gather necessary documentation and billing informationGenerate reports and provide insights to support financial decision-makingStay updated on industry standards and regulatory requirements to ensure complianceQualifications:Mental-health or medical billing - 2+ years of experience requiredProficiency in billing software (SimplePractice) and Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills and ability to multitaskSelf motivator with excellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentWhat We Offer:Competitive salary, healthcare, dental, vision, 401k, paid sick and leave timeA collaborative and supportive work environmentThis is an in-person position at the Woodbridge office, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break.
